If you say The Afterglow you say what is actually meant when people speak about a fucking good, hard-edged, real indie rock band. Founder members are the half english frontman Dave Timson and guitarist Mik Lennard, who started the band in Turin, NW Italy, in 1998. The band decided to base themselves and work partially in Italy and partially in the UK, on account of their songwriting and sound, which were felt far more akin to an English 4-piece than to a typical Italian band.
The Afterglow new album “Sorry.” will be out on June, 2.
The album’s full special preview will be available on the band’s website and myspace from february 2.
Four opening singles’ will be digitally released on MAY 2 as follows:
United Kingdom - “Merry-Go-Round”; United States - “Clown” ; Italy - “Hand Of A Clock” ; Japan - special remix.
