Doublemind Records is The Afterglow new, own record label.
The band announce they gave birth to the label by the merge between their staff and SeeSaw Music management agency.
The Afterglow announce that the band's new album will be released on the new label, ending a four-year association with Silent Revolution Records.
Management said that founder members Dave Timson and Mik Lennard would have a majority say in the running of the new label,
which would also sign new acts. The Afterglow's decision to release records worldwide under their own imprint echoes the creation of many other labels founded and run by bands, starting from The Beatles with Apple to, more recently, Oasis with their Big Brother Recordings .
A spokesman for the band confirmed that the band's second album would be released on the new label in the first half of 2009, and that the label would be mainly staffed by the band's and SeeSaw Music's former collaborators.
